SiS Education Foundation
SiS Education Foundation was established in 2000 on the belief that we give back to society what we have taken from it. The purpose of this foundation is to promote technological education and research development.
We are concerned about and eagerly launched many academic-oriented activities, including the dissemination of information to promote knowledge to encourage academic research and technology development, the set up of the relevant research centers, the organization of academic seminars and studies, academic scholarship and international academic exchanges to develop talents, and organize the activities for the youth to be a person with all-rounded development in ethics, intellect, physique, social skills and aesthetics, to contribute our efforts in education.
Policy of Environment, Safety and Hygiene (ESH)
SiS uphold the concept of a sustainable development, keep proceeding to the ESH control, prevention and improvement, and make effort in advancing EHS management system.
Besides the growth in the enterprise, we are committed to do the followings to contribute to the social responsibilities.
Abide by and fulfill internal ESH regulations and associated requisitions.
Committed to green design and related activities, and save the sources of energy to achieve the goals of sustainable development and green business.
Protect employees’ health and maintain company’s properties, and advance ESH measures to reduce the occurrence of disasters and accidents.
Fulfill the ESH management system and keep proceeding to the prevention and improvement in pollution.
Regularly review the operations of ESH policy and management system by means of management examinations.
Strengthen the communications with colleagues, venders and the public, and comprehend the performance of ESH.
Green Products Policy
SiS embraces environmental protection by designing products based upon the various national requirements and regulations for these green products.
Besides the requirement of customer and regulations(such as RoHS,REACH,Halogen…)，we are in the active promotion of green purchasing by requiring upstream suppliers to observe our Restricted Usage of Environmentally Hazardous Substances .
Conflict Minerals Policy
We require our suppliers not to purchase and refuse to use conflict minerals, such as tantalum, tin, gold, tungsten, or their derivatives that may directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups through mining or mineral trading in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) or an adjoining country.
